Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! I won't tag anyone specific, but hope that everyone who stumbles across here takes a few minutes to share......Tis the Season to be NICE!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper, i love to unwrap and i love to wrap
2. Real tree or Artificial? artificial but its not out yet
3. When do you put up the tree? whenever. but i may not put one up this year cause its in the crawl space and i hate going in there
4. When do you take the tree down the tree? ditto #3
5. Do you like egg nog? no
6. Favorite gift received as a child? gameboy with tetris
7. Do you have a nativity scene? no
8. Hardest person to buy for? it varies year to year
9. Easiest person to buy for? ditto #9
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? neither im not adult enough yet
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? i dunno i like everything. im pretty specific with what i want too
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? the one with the little elf who sneaks in santas bag and lands on a room and the kids are sad cause their stockings have holes in them cause theya re poor and they think santa wont leave gifts so the elf leaves his stockings and then he gets so cold and his toes turn blue. I think its called bluetoes the elf or something
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? well i haven't...yet
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? scuffles. and sugar cookies...but only when its me and my cousins stealing them from my grandmas cold room. they have never tasted as good since then
15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? coloured.
16. Favorite Christmas song? away in a manger
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? this year back to dinsmore to have christmas in the senior citizens center. it will be awesome
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? i dont thinks o lol
19. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? your lucky i dont open them the day i get them in the mail
20. Most annoying thing about this time of year? the christmas story movie that tbs plays over and over
21. Favorite ornament theme or color? my theme is a mix of ornaments i stole from my granny's basemnet and ornament chris and i recieved in the last 5 yrs
22. Favorite food for Christmas dinner? Turkey mashed potatoes, gravy
23. What do you want for Christmas this year? guitar hero for the wii in surround sound lol

Ok this is slightly embarrasing but to make you laugh during the holiday times here ye be:
ELFY-NESS
so whats new I graduated from cop school (as the top female shooter) it was so much fun taking that class. I joined the alumni assoc for the class so i can be a volunteer to get tanked on the cop's money and then let the recruits learn to give breathalyzers
I may also get the oppertunity to be a coordinator for the class which would also be awesoem.
Our TV is still so awesome and on wednesday we are switching to access cable because sasktel cant push HD through our line cause we have too much oging on here right now. so we will get cable through access and then upgrade to EXTREME internet through sasktel cause chris getshis discount on that
His work is going good, my work is going good. Its great that we both work at government jobs making about 18 bucks an hour and I set up phones all day and chris answers questions about internet and stuff.
we decided where we want to have our wedding which is exciting for us and in january we are going to start hammering down details...and i will be more serious in my quest to find my perfect dress. i am going to check the next time we go to clagary and maybe even take a trip down to minot. Im glad that in january I will jsut need my id if i am driving down there. im glad minot is so close so we can jsut drive down for the weekend for a quick shopping trip if we want to. I guess i should look at starting paperwork for my passport because we will need it when we go somewhere beautiful for our honeymoon.
my new apartment is great. its toasty warm in the winter and we have AC for the summer. our landlord is great really nice and on top of things. the cats seem to like it, but they do want to escape into the hallway sometimes to go exploring.

It was a long day yesterday all the way to dinsmore and all the way back. the funeral was nice. I was surprised at home small the church was in dinsmore. there wasnt hardly enough room for everyone. I mean Its not like i spent a ton of them in there.
but i had a good visit with my aunt and with my grandpa who got a cold and my grandma who is having alot of medical problems. It was the first time i had been in dinsmore and actually went out somewhere besides over to my grandpas and over tot he care home to see my grandma. so alot of people were surprised to see me.
enough of that though. We got mario galaxy on thursday and playing it is awesome. playing it from our new couch is awesomer. and playing it from our new couch on our 55" HDTV makes it look AMAZING. and i know the game isnt HD but it is still amazing. i am going to buy chris an xbox 360 in the near future so he can play HD games on his HD tv with all his buddies. They used to play soul cal every friday at our house but when the xbox came out those nights died off a bit. |

Well my gun shooting went excellent it was such a freaking rush. I got 50/50 the first time and then i was placed in a competition against my BFF Jill. That one I got 45/50 and she got 43/50 so I was the best. I even beat all the little boys who are trying to become cops!. I kicked their asses. but i know when you are applying to be a real cop you have to shoot like 100 shots instead of jsut 10 rounds. but my wrists didnt hurt where as a few peoples did. This thursday is my graduation from CPA and it will be fun times and then I believe i am going to the drink after for battle of the bands. it will really be more of a celebration for me to get tanked.
Tonight is Amy's Porn-tini party which Im sure will be interesting to say the least.
But right now I am about to head off to dinsmore for my auntie Aili's funeral. She is really my grandpa's cousin, but Ive always known her as auntie Aili.
She was 87 and had a heart attack. she was going to recieve a pacemaker but she died of pneumonia first.
She was sucha sweet lady, and I'm really glad Im going to be able to go to dinsmore for the funeral. My aunt is driving through town and will pick me up on the way. It will be a very short trip as we are jsut going for the day.

| I gots me a couch! |
I almost bought guitar hero for the wii today...but I paused on that fro various reasons and now i am glad I didnt cause chris said that the games were only released in mono sound...LAME...and anywasy I got all moved in sans couch due to the fact that i didnt feel like moving it lol. and then we went to the brick and bought a couch on sunday and since we were there we bought a tv too. we get it tuesday since I wasnt about to move more shit we paid for the delivery hahaha. I get to shoot a gun on wednesay and I am sooooo excited. Ive shot shotguns but not had guns before. cop school rocks my socks.
Its my birthday on saturday ...i am going to the rack on friday and it will be awesome i am turning 25 and its exciting. i dont know why people whine about getting older |

| Bathroom |
My Bathroom is unpacked and everything is in place. Its got a yellow tub and toilet which shows how dated it is but I used to have a baby blue tub and toilet with a green sink. why did people ever think that colored bathroom pieces were cool?
our bath curtain matches and so do the bath mats but I think I will buy some new ones because the ones we have are kinda small, since we used to have a midget bathroom.
Tomorrow Krystin and Mystie are coming by so I am planning on gettng most if not all of my stuff from my old place and then I have the week to unpack and then on the weekend we are going to get to gether with chris' brother for another wii night. |
